This a collection of links to freeware which I have found to be very useful.

Some of the companies below also offer a version of the software that you need to pay for (it will have more features than the free version). It's a personal choice whether you need the extra features or not, but personally I have only purchased one (SyncBackSE, because I wanted to backup via FTP - not necessary for most people).
