In General

We aren't going to do anything that may hurt the trust that our customers have in us.

We are bound by our integrity, and also by corporation law and privacy laws (and every other kind of law) of Queensland, Australia.

None of your information will be provided to any third party, for fee or otherwise, except in 2 cases:

1. We receive orders from a legal authority. The probability of this happening is close to zero, but we have to say it.
2. You write a comment on our site. To prevent spam, we utilise an anti-spam service provided by Mollom. By posting a message on our website, you accept that your message and other personal details about you will be analysed and stored for anti-spam and quality monitoring purposes, in accordance with Mollom's privacy policy. (They have very strict privacy rules, as you would expect from an anti-spam service).

 
The Information That We Keep

 
When You Register On Our Website

You need to enter a real email address in order to register. But, because you could type in a fake name, anything more than an email address is up to you.
 

When You Use Our Automated Trading Machine (ATM)

We cannot and do not access any private information that you enter into ATM. Further, when using the software, trading information, orders, price data, etc, are sent directly between your computer and your broker.

If you subscribe to ATM, for verification purposes we ask you to give us at least 1 of 2 pieces of fairly private information:

1. Your computer's hard-drive and serial number. These details cannot be used to access the information on your hard-drive, just like a car engine's serial number cannot be used to access nor start the car. The serial number is plainly and simply a unique number given to the product by the manufacturer; or
2. Your account numbers. These details cannot be used to withdraw money from your accounts - indeed we cannot even see your account balance.

In any case, we aren't going to give your details to anyone.
 

When You Use Automated Trading Execution (ATE)

This service is where we do your automated trading for you on our servers. Because of this, we will need your account numbers and passwords. And we will need at least one trading system to run.

We will not give or sell your trading systems nor your account details to any 3rd party.

We will be able to see your account balance though. In fact, we will be able to initiate a withdrawal of the money from your trading account. Scary stuff. Until you realise that brokers only transfer money back to the bank account where the money came from originally. i.e. your account. Not much help to us.
