Each chart can be made up of 1 or many panels. There is the main panel that has the price bars, the volume panel (if applicable) then shows the volume, and as many other panels as you like to show your indicators.

When you add a new indicator, text field, horizontal line, chart icon, etc, you are given the option of selecting which chart panel to put it on. However, this list does not include the Volume panel.

Workaround: (for indicators only though) add the indicator to a different panel. Click the indicator to select it. Drag it to the volume panel.

Instead of having a separate

Instead of having a separate volume panel, volume is now just treated like any other indicator. Downside is it is not added automatically when charting symbols that have volume. And also won't be the standard bar chart display that is normally used for volume, but rather just a line like other indicators.
