FXCM December King Of The Mini

I've made it back to my parents' farm without any trouble. It's not literally the other side of the world, but it may as well be.

Whether the winners traded big and got lucky, or whether they have a system that you should try to work out and follow, is up to you to decide.

Happy New Year

My visa is about to expire on January 10th, and so I have to head back to Australia. If I really wanted to I would have found a way to stay in Japan, but after 18 months in Tokyo and now Osaka, I'm kind of looking forward to some time on my parents' farm. There's only one other house on the horizon, plenty of animals, roast meals, and it's (currently) warm.

So, there'll be a bit of a lull as I swap countries. And yes, unfortunately, this will also delay the release of my software :-( In the meantime, I've updated the sidebar to make it easier for newcomers (and old) to read through my theories on systems trading (otherwise known as mechanical trading rules, or purely objective trading rules). And also the problems with backtesting.

Also, I recommend you visit the other trading blogs I have linked to in my sidebar. I don't do link swaps (where I put a link to their's if they put a link to mine). I only add a link if I think their blog is worth reading. It's interesting how each person has a different take on trading, and it fits with my theory that all techniques can work - it's just up to you as to which will work for you.
